We’re running FREE craft sessions throughout the Easter holidays around the theme of Creative Recycling – for children, young people and families.
Simply bring along any clean, recycled products from home, such as plastics, boxes, paper, foil etc and we can show you how to create some amazing works of arts using them.
We’re running four sessions and each one will be different – so why not come along and enjoy all of them?!
Tuesday 5th April 10am-12noon – Cardboard Kingdom
Create castles, caves and dens from huge sheets of cardboard – decorating as you go.
Wednesday 6th April 10am-12noon – Musical Instruments
Fancy making a giant didgeridoo…or drums…or a guitar maybe? Let’s make some noise with this fabulous opportunity to create musical instruments from recycled bottles and tins (please bring in supplies if you can!)
Tuesday 12th April 10am-12noon – Help create a Scrapstore Mural
Using REAL TOOLS we’re going to hammer and drill recycled plastics and bits and bobs into a huge wooden board, to create a mural which will be displayed in our ScrapStore.
Wednesday 13th April 10am-12noon – Woven Wigwams
Make your very own Wigwam Tepee to take home, from rolls of newspaper strong enough to make furniture using our Stix machine, and recycled ribbon and fabric.
